where can i do that from?
When the stars threw down their spears,
and water'd heaven with their tears,
Did he smile his work to see?
Did he who made the lamb make thee?

also, is there a way to make tabbed browsing the default without this hold control while clicking bs?

I think that's an option in the Tab Browser Extensions (TBE).

Asher's link earlier in the thread to me.

either i'm incompetent or the extensions have been taken down temporarily...

              Works perfectly for me:

              Try it again

So you say this is better than Opera?

Give me some concrete examples of how it's better and I'll give it a trial.

It's faster... much more so. It leaves Opera and IE in the dust. It's INSANE how much faster this version is from those browsers.

I just like the feel better than Opera. And the modular design is a total plus.

It definetly is sparser... less 'stuff' going on. The menu bars and icons are nice and small,

Hmmm, it's working for me... are you using Firefox to see it?

                            I'm getting what Tis is.

Having said that, I'm quite pleased with Firefox. It is still a bit jerky and there are some resizing issues and I had to trash my old Phoenix program, but it looks like the 1.0 release will be the browser of choice on any platform (unless Apple fixes Safari in the next release).

I'm more and more impressed with open source software. I managed to install X Windows and OpenOffice on my machine last weekend and I don't think I'll ever pay for a proprietary Office suite again. Here's hoping the OS X port of KOffice is coming along soon.

That is strange... I got 146 extensions..

                              Try this for mouse gestures:

I wouldn't attribute Firefox's greatness to it being open source. It's just a damn fine piece of software.

There's damn fine commercial software, damn fine open source software, but mostly crap on both sides of the fence.

Although I'd figure after you install XWindows and have to use it for a bit, you'll be wishing death upon open source software. OpenOffice also takes literally 4-5x long to load as Office and still has weird compatibility quirks...
