When was I crying? Usually when someone screams "AAAAAH" they are screaming in frustration, not sadness. If it was sadness, the appropriate smilie would have accompanied it.

Right, let's have no more bickering PLEASE!

There is no reason for rockers to be at odds.

That way I can enjoy the melody and the tone of the voice to it

I enjoy many non-English singing bands.

Finntroll (Finland), Tierra Santa (Spain) and Seigfreid (Germany) among them.

                    • Evanescense was never "christian rock" or "religionist"... somehow the media started calling them that and it stuck... I've seem numerous interviews with the band debunking those labels. I'm glad to see the media is finally moving on (although they are failing to mention they were wrong in mislabeling the band).

btw, I also hate the "nu" labels.
To us, it is the BEAST.

                      • You found a way to draw a line,
                        between the world and you.
                        Faking your idenity it's true.
Did you think the word "alternative",
was only meant for the likes of you?
Do you think that they're too cool now?
                        Being popular is lame.
You're the one who made them popular,
all their songs are still the same.

                        You found them first,
it made you stand apart, you know?
But then everyone jumped on the same bandwagon,
                        making you an average Joe,
                        A lemming for the mediocre,
you were just a plain old joker status quo.
Blame it on the band now.
If you ***** them do they bleed?
What's the point in playing what they want,
if you won't let them succed?

Do you remember where we all came from?
Do you remember what it's all about?
When you made a point to be objective,
before you started writing Handbook for the Sellout?

You sunk your worth in being different,
just to be like your own kind.
                        You traded in objectiveness,
for the underground you follow blind.

but what about the rather eerie similarity to Lacuna Coil?

bull**** of course. you think other bands don't care about making money?

And I really hate it just because a band sells out, they can't listen to them. I judge music on its quality- not whether it goes with current trends.

                              • to be honest, i'd rather have another load, instead of st. anger.

hardcore can't be polished to a sheen and have the rough edges sculpted in afterwards.
