American TV is so lame - no one swears and the sex is, if at all, soft lights and cooing. The BBC does sex right - ugly people grunting and slapping like two dogs in an alley.

Dissident, if it had only been one commercial which was about a making fun of a woman, that would have ben one thing. When you had several different ones in a row, it bespeaks a general attitude. On the other hand, Budweiser commercials general seem to hold their consumers in low regard.

I agree about Budweiser. I'm no prude (believe me), but I have found their commercials of the last couple of years both sexist and insultingly stupid. I guess they know their customer base.
