Threaten them with being charged with treason (consorting with the enemy). Beyond that, corporations will simply laugh at you and write a check to pay for any drop-in-the-bucket, half-assed fines levied against them...The cake is NOT a lie. It's so delicious and moist.

well theres 2 ideas:
Free trader: Complete devaluation of the dollar, get rid of such unnecessary things as clean air, water, etc.
Protectionists: Tariffs. Of course thats simplistic to the extreme, theres a 10-20 point plan put out by some people, and its fairly good, it includes such things as placing penalty tariffs on nations that don't import from the third world enough.

With the exact same results as NK, however, its going to happen one way or the other, either we will correct the balance of trade, or enough wages will be destroyed, enough property and debt sold, that people won't even be able to afford the extremely cheap overcapacity the world has to offer.

Not a blessed thing. What are you, Lancer. A commie or something?I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891
