Yet more lines, more delays, more missed connecting flights.

I swear, before Sept 11th I never missed a connecting flight while flying the US. And after, I missed all but one.

All due to lines and lines and more goddamn lines. Lines at customs, lines at passport checks, lines for security check ups, etc. I'm ****ing sick of it. When I've been flying 8 hours from Amsterdam to O'Hare, I do NOT want to have to spend another hour or more waiting in lines, and being stressed out about wether or not I'll make my connecting flight. **** American Airports.

It's funny how only foreign carriers are being delayed/cancelled (BA, Air France, Air Mexico) due to security alert. maybe this is just a way for Bush to pay back his contributors in the US airway industry...

I mean seriously, if that flight 233 was ever a target don't you think that after 6 days of delaying it and ott screening (22 US agencies have to clear the passenger list apparently), the terrorists haven't switched to some other flight and carrier?

Let's just say I'm hostile enough to this measure that I'll wholly avoid the American territory as long as it's in place. Sorry tosay that, but you won't get my money

The US is not only responding to the terrorist threat in a cack-handed way (not really surprising, they are novices at it after all) but it is getting deeper in debt all the time to it's major strategic challenger (with the Chinese central bank buying up large amounts of US government debt)

centrifuge, that's what the function of this whole thing is. However I disagree with its effectiveness with REAL terrorists. They can BUY REAL passports. They don't have to use fake ones, they just can buy real ones. With different names. Fingerprints will match etc, if they haven't been arrested in the US before. No problem.

But even then it's not all useless. They can track them down afterwards, if there are fingerprints or security camera pictures .. unfortunately that's when it's too late though. But that's better than nothing and helps the investigations a lot. Plus with this they can catch the ones that are not top elite but more of smaller time crooks.

Yet another reason not to fly on US airlines.

Last month I flew back to Canada. If I had bought tickets from United Airlines, my girlfriend would have had to buy a $100 visa just to change planes in San Fran. So instead we flew on a Taiwanese airline.

These so-called security policies are going to severely damage American airlines, and that means Americans are going to lose jobs.
