I dread to think what would happen to people whose parents' details get published on a site like that. It just doesn't bear thinking about.

I imagine living next door to a named person would be awful too. Even if it was aimed at the property three feet to the left, I would not feel comfortable in the presence of a lynchmob consisting of morally-enraged yokels with burning torches and pitchforks.

Many people roleplay. They have fantasies of being with someone younger, they want to (but then, we cannot control what we want, merely our actions) but they would not actually do it. They chat up young people as an outlet, but due to legalities and morals, would not actually go through with it.

On their website they say that they don't post anything until they've called the person and definately established a meeting for sex. Anyone who goes that far more or less deserves whatever this website does to them. Still having a hard time understading how some people seem to think that making plans to **** a kid is worse than telling other people that a given person likes to **** kids, I've known far too many people who've had this sort of thing happen to them to have any sympathy for the pedos.

Lynchmobs are unaccetpable. The website should not encourage them, this is one of the minor problems with it. Also inherent to the quantity of information they provide. The basic idea is sound.

If I take part in such conversations, iI would expect to be stung in this manner. As you said, the people there have taken part in more than one mere conversation.

And even if they did, it wouldn't be some random group of people's job to see that "justice" was done. That's what law enforcement and the courts are for.

What would happen if someone's teenaged son posed as his Dad on one of these chat sites? I'm not suire just calling is sufficient to identify the alleged perp. When the police do this they allow the guy to set up a rendezvous and then move in on him when he shows up. In some instances they've actually enlisted very young looking officers to go to the rendezvous points as bait.
