Quite a bit, as a matter of fact. Just because I think it's cruel doesn't mean I don't understand it. I just have a different set of morals. One that values human beings ahead of money. Which isn't to say I don't like money. It may not buy happiness, but it sure rents a hell of a lotta fun.

The government makes and distributes money..and money is worth something only as long as the government is willing to back it: so unless the rich have their own presses and back their money on their own words, it is the govs money at the beginning, and end. Now if the rich whish to give up all their dollars and revert to private bank notes..I am more than willing to take it off their hands.

Sorry, but that's all the above was worth.

Appraently TCO is having a problem with his acount, and he askd me to post this rebuttal to myself.

"No...you have no clue. And yes incentives affect production. and yes increased taxation is a decreased incentive. Now we can quantify it sure. But if you knew anything, you would understand this concept and then move on to a discussion of subtleties. Now get on your bike and ride. The cops are coming... "

                    But I'm a bastard, so I won't.

BK, thanks, but I've been working since March. I just expect my contract to end in mid-January, unless some new project comes up that my manager can charge to another department. I know they didn't get an increase in their budget this year, so that means they probably didn't get the money to buy my contract out or extend my contract through March, 2005.

I do need to get the heck out of Jax, though. I need a more intellectually stimulating town. I'm looking at: Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Milwaukee, Minniapolis-St. Paul, NYC, Washington, Seattle, Portland, Vancouver, Toronto, etc. Wouldn't mind Austin, but BG vetos any move to Texas. A university town would also suffice. Wouldn't mind moving to Europe either.
Since thanksgiving is tommorow I will be forced to take a break in my job search. I find though that the best way for me to handle the rejection is to get anther interview.
