I dont think China is in a position to attack Tawain. To do that they need a navy that is actually able to project power and to land troops on to an island with no ports. The Chinese as far as I know dont have that right now. I think it is just a bunch of hot gas they blowing out of their mouth.
If China did start a war over this issue, the entire Chinese economy could collopase because of it.Comment

What does taiwan gain from delcaring independence? Besides, even their own cosntitution declares there to be one China..which is what the prez wants to change and why the Chinese got snippy.
