Call To Power 2 Cradle 3+ mod in progress: https://apolyton.net/forum/other-games/call-to-power-2/ctp2-creation/9437883-making-cradle-3-fully-compatible-with-the-apolyton-edition
A pet or a horse gives you a bonus to attack and defence for a certain number of rounds. A wolf lasts for 10 rounds for instance, while a Tyrant Drake lasts 170 rounds.
A mount (horse, dragon, pink elephant, etc) will also give you a certain number of extra forest fights each and every day.
You have 120,000 now, enough to buy good armour and good weapon.
I'm building a wagon! On some other part of the internets, obviously (but not that other site).
Don't you think it is funny that your charm increases by the same amount whether you kill a dragon that has been plaguing the land, or just by having a shower...
The mount will increase your attack and defence numbers, say your base attack is 117 and you own a tyrant drake, then your attack with its help will be 1872. In other words, you will practically kill everything in one shot. Cheaper mounts give smaller bonuses of course, but a mount is one of the first things you should get as soon as you can.

Some geeks might find it easier to kill a dragon that to have a shower.
Horsie never dies. It only gets tired, but every new day it is back again. Also if you find a place to rest in the forest your mount also rests and is back again as though it were a new day.
The only way to rid yourself of a mount is forgetting to tie it up when you sleep in your house. That or selling the bugger.

Can you transfer gems?
The only way to transfer gems that I am aware of is for one person to sell gems to the gem shop and for the other person to buy them. That's an expensive process, though.
I'm not sure if this is still true, but you can get 24 gems for a mere 30,000 gold (which is a bargain even after 30 DK's) by buying a house, removing all of the gems from it, and selling the house back, repeat as necessary.
Azazel: If you haven't bought a mount yet, then I suggest that you buy Shadowfax at your earliest opportunity. It'll set you back 60 gems, but you should be able to buy that many from the gem shop or else by using the house buying truck three times. I'm dead at the moment, but I'll send you a few hundred grand for the gem shop when I'm resurrected.
