Question 5: Which country unilaterally withdrew from the Kyoto treaty on global warming in March 2001?
A: The United States of America.
    Don't even get me started.

6: Which country is the world's biggest polluter?
A: The United States of America.
Pollution vs. Productivity? Shouldn't we also be asking which country is the worlds largest exporter of goods and services? Nah, F' that, this is a bash America article.

Question 11: Aside from Somalia, which is the only other country in the world to have refused to ratify the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child?
A: The United States of America.
What does that have to do with anything? I would like to see the justifications for this, as I am sure they are good and worthy of more explination than this.

Question 12: Which is the only country in the West which still permits the execution of children (i.e. "persons under the age of 18")?
A: The United States of America.
Ah, must have something to do with this... US is also th most critized country for our capital punishment... I am for the death penalty, this doesn't change my mind.

There's a lot of "you didn't sign this treaty" BS flying. That doesn't mean sheit to me.

Question 17: Which country refuses to hand over a variety of indicted war criminals, terrorists and mass murderers - all residing within its borders - to Cuba, Venezuela and Haiti?
A: The United States of America.
Criminals against the state are criminals against the state.....

Question 18: Which country has provided approximately $100 billion in aid to a country [Israel] which has maintained a 34-year occupation of land in defiance of international law?
A: The United States of America.

Question 19: Which was the only other country to join with Israel in opposing a 1987 General Assembly resolution condemning international terrorism?
A: The United States of America.
Does the writer of this article hate jews? I think so.

Question 23: Which country is the driving force behind the current economic embargo on Iraq - responsible for the death of over half a million Iraqi children and described by one of its own legislators as "genocide masquerading as policy"?
A: The United States of America.
    ROTFLMAO

Question 24: Which is the only country in the world to have dropped bombs on twenty other countries since 1945?
A: The United States of America.

Question 25: Which is the only country in the world to have used all three types of "weapons of mass destruction" (chemical, biological and nuclear)?
A: The United States of America.
Which country do the majority of other countries come to for aid every time the sheit hits the fan?

Which is the only country to have lost soldiers and citizians in order to protect freedom and democracy in over 20 other countries since 1945?

Which is the only country to protect the American way of life?

    This article pisses me off

Laugh all you want Kropotkin, I am just pointing out that while the world is not going to be happy with all the decisions the US makes, that we do not make the decisions we do to make the world happy. Rather the decisions are made to make US citizens happy, and safe.

Yes, that it what makes it into such a funny statement. As if someone actually thought that some other country would defend the "american way of life".

btw, japher, you're points does not mix very well. On one hand you claim that americans die for freedom and democracy in other countries. On the other hand you claim that the decisions are made with the interests of american citizens in mind.

                  Comfort who?

Mohammed Hannon and his lousy "25 Undeveloped Reasons to Hate America" article?

What didn't he just say "What is the only country to have 50 stars on their flag?" - America.
                  ?

It is a lame article, that generalizes complex truths into a matter of simple truths... which they are not. Only, America caused this war, didn't agree with these people, hasn't done this, hasn't done that, blah, blah, blah... You can pick any country and generate a list like this. Only you can add "ignore human rights", "tolerates genocide", etc...

Protect democracy -- are you alluding to our "white burden of little brown brothers" policy, or the policy of supporting anti-communist dictatorships??

Or are you talking about both policies?

No matter if any or all is true, the only option to none of it happening is to turn to isolationism.

Most of America's actions are not mindless reactions. All this article does is point out the actions and not the decission making process behind them, including reasons.

                              We don't drop bombs willy-nilly.

We don't sign treaty's because our pen ran out of ink.

The author just ignores purpose. The purpose or method may be wrong, but that requires a much lengthier discussion on a per point basis...

We could easily make a shooting look like cold blooded murder even if the shooting was performed in self defense, by accident, or was actually cold blooded murder.

No matter if any or all is true, the only option to none of it happening is to turn to isolationism.

But Japher is correct. We can make these lists of any country. What's the point? It's clear bias.. anti-US trash people. They consider US bashing a hobby, which keeps them occupied because they can't afford to do anything else. Losers.
