the US used chemical and biological weapons?
When the stars threw down their spears,
and water'd heaven with their tears,
Did he smile his work to see?
Did he who made the lamb make thee?

          What it says is:

" most lethal terrorist bombing in modern Middle East history"

          Which is true.

Many of these questions are over simplified and don't tell the full picture.

Yes. The list should be cut in half and all the crap ones about stuff like Kyoto removed.

Which is false. 242 Americans were killed when the Beirut Marine Base went skywards back in the 80's.

                Answer 9 is still bull****.

EDIT: While I'm at it, Answer 8 is semantically incorrect. The Russian Federation is larger than the United States; therefore, the Russian Federation is the biggest exporter of arms.

I could go on picking holes in this, but I've got other fish to fry.

And the UN stuff. We are responsible for over 60% of all costs associated with the UN and many countries don't use it in the spirit of how it was founded. For some, its simply a propaganda opportunity, not a real forum to resolve world issues.

So America decides to take the gloves off and play by the rules everyone else is playing by the whole time -- and they start get an attitude. Tough sh1t. You don't like our late payments to the UN??? Why don't you host it in your country, pay a majority of costs and listen to "resolution" after "resolution" about how you suck. I'm sure you would take the high road then.

What about all the countries that owe us money and we forgive debt all the time. Maybe we should stop doing that. Oh, let me not forget the free military protection we provide to many countries routinely in the past 60 years.

Go figure - it reminds me of some of my employees. No matter how you try to make their job easier or better, they still complain and b1tch. I want to say "Go get another job" but I'm too professional and polite.

I am not surprised at this attitude at all. The US signed the membership charter, made a promise of what it would do. Now that other countries are not bending backwards anymore, so it's now acting like a thug, not paying dues and stuff.

Somehow, some posters think this is right. Snooze.

Nope, if you read the statment correctly you'll see that it claims that it was "the most lethal terrorist bombing in modern Middle East history". The Marine base was hit in 1983 while the incident mentioned was in 1985. Scholars all agree that modern middle east history started in 1984.

I'm not sure about #8. IIRC, that tends to shift between Russia, France, and the US.

Which is irrelevent considering the people who write the question chose not to play such semantic games: thereby making it the most lethal terrorist bombing in modern Middle East history,.
