Henry Hill (ie. the real life Goodfella) was on a daytime chatshow here in the UK last week, and I was amazed how well Ray Liotta portrayed him, the speech, mannerisms etc. were EXACTLY right

reds4ever, even though the movies is full of great acting, Ray Liotta made the movie very special for me. Brilliant performance, two thumbs up.

My favourite part in Goodfellas among many is when Jimmy Convay (De Niro) first decides he'll just kill that other guy who had a wig and was busting his nuts about some money. He's in a bar, and then a great track starts plaing and he has this interesting look in his face, he's not smiling, but almost.. hard to tell what expression that is but you know just then what's going to happen.. he smokes his cigarrette adn... it's beautiful.

But naturally the movie is full of legendary scenes.
