Does Florida have open carry laws? So you could strap on a .45 with a shoulder holster? That'd clear 'em out of your path.

I know it used to in the 80s.
Christianity: The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree...

If you agree to the removal of that, than why not the removal of the positive momentos. Who decides what is acceptable and what isn't?

From a strictly literal interpretation, I think the Atheists are correct.
It's not the state's concern in particular.

Idiot drivers should never drive, I agree -- but I'm not warming up to the violation of freedom of religion to make roads safer for these incompetents.

Rather, TAKE THOSE DAMN INCOMPETENTS OFF THE ROAD.

It's not a violation of religion because you don't have a right to put up . . . well, anything on public property.

Isn't their argument that the state is paid to keep things off the roadways/road sides and should then clear them of these memorials which have been placed on PUBLIC property?

MrFun, that was just an example. If putting a hole in public property is so bad, lets just leave the cross standing up on a table, 'k?

Whatever happened to your tolerance, MrFun? I hope it's not just a one-way street.

That typo is relatively innocuous, but imagine if somebody mixed the two words up in the other direction. The end of Psalm 50 would have rather interesting connotations...
