fp, I assume that you'd be aware if there was a school parade involving the flag on national holidays somewhere else in the UK, besides England. If I'm wrong please correct me.

So we have:

No=US, Danemark, France (with some exceptions) South Korea, UK, Sweden

Yes= Norway, Greece

I was wondering about this, but didn't want to totally commit myself in case I was wrong. There certainly isn't any kind of official celebration of this kind in Scotland or Wales, although it's possible that it could be an unofficial tradition in some places and I've just never heard about it.

There isn't one of these parades in Northern Ireland either (have no idea about the Republic), since that would simply be an incitement to riot and they prefer to save that for their frequent religious parades.
