  • Naw, that's the bay area which blows it to Fresno. We have a bunch of mountains and high desert between Diego and Fresno.

      • I wonder how the asthmatics are doing.
Christianity: The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree...

        • Sorry but it's the central valley's lot in life to suck up our smog and then sell it back to us in the form of tainted veggies.

                  • That's a great map. Where did you find it? Also is there one which shows the amount of damage the fires have caused in the mountains? I hear the Cleveland National Forest and Cuyamaca Rancho State Park have been hit hard.

The Cedar Fire has burned about 300,000 acres and destroyed 850 homes including 300 homes in Scripps Ranch where I live.

                              • I was wondering that too. It's off the coast of Mexico where there are no islands.

Also why the hell does CNN describ my neighborhood as "tony"? It's like the bastards ran out of good adjectives and just decided to look up an obsolete word to describe my home town.

With the damage 75 percent assessed, at least 300 homes in the tony Scripps Ranch neighborhood have been destroyed, San Diego's fire chief said. At least 25,000 acres within the city limits were charred, the chief said.
