  • UK Meet Still On?

Is a UK meet for Feb. of next year still on? We had discussed this before, as it's likely I'll be in the UK around that time...so what's up?

I'm still up for it. Whaleboy (formerly elijah) is always up for a drink. Verres I'm nit sure about, but I'll try and talk her into it.

I don't think it was cancelled, so I'm guessing it still is.

I'll be able to make Birmingham.

It's about time we had one outside of the ****hole South.

Also, how about for before Nov 19th, when I leave these shores never to return, (hopefully)

That coming from someone that wouldn't believe that where I lived wasn't one of the nicest areas in the town.

You know how full of crap he is Mike

I think Birmingham is a sound idea. And again Mike, you know all the best drinkeries and eateries there

Nah, select for beautiful (and only half an hour away from me) Ipswich!
Exult in your existence, because that very process has blundered unwittingly on its own negation. Only a small, local negation, to be sure: only one species, and only a minority of that species; but there lies hope. [...] Stand tall, Bipedal Ape. The shark may outswim you, the cheetah outrun you, the swift outfly you, the capuchin outclimb you, the elephant outpower you, the redwood outlast you. But you have the biggest gifts of all: the gift of understanding the ruthlessly cruel process that gave us all existence [and the] gift of revulsion against its implications.

It's all changed since I was there, and none of them are good.

I thought we were going to meet in Oxford 'cause that's where this girl David's staying with will be?
