Attach it to a post and it should show up automatically, as long as its jpeg, gif or png file type.

                that time again?

how often do you guys change your desktops?

In any case I still use Windows 98 . For some reason my desktops never look as good as you alls. How do you get nifty looking icons like that? And the crazy fonts.

My desktops look pretty crappy in comparison. So I doubt I will post mine this time.

                  okay, okay.

I realize my wallpaper isn't hip (it was a nature shot). So I updated it.

I really don't even like this movie that much, but I decided to go with this wallpaper for now.

Cool, but your desktop is a bit cluttered.. I guess that means we can see what you play .

I like quick access to my programs.

And yes my games. Baldur's Gate 1 and 2. Icewind Dale 1 and 2 (though I just took 2 off to make more room now I finished it). Planescape: torment. Fallout 1 and 2 and Tactics. Morrwind, neverwinter Nights. Civ2, Civ2 TOT, CTP2, SMAC, wasteland, rise of nations demo, Diablo2, that's about it.

And too many video players. I had some porn I had to see, so I downloaded some video players that could play the codecs properly

How long does it take for your desktop to load up Diss?

And why a short-cut to Winzip? Right- clicking pretty much does the same.
                          Same goes for a mail/winamp/WMP/etc prog I guess, isn't a quick-launch/right-click enough?

ahh, but if I need to zip a file to send via email for a PBEM game, I need to open up winzip.

As for Winamp, and WMP, well I use different media players for different things. Clicking my mp3's will bring up musicmatch. But if I want to use winamp (occasionally I do for tests and such), I have to open that manually. My videos come up on windows media player I think.

It doesn't take that long for my desktop to come up. I have a P3 700 after all . But I do have 256 megs of ram.

It used to come up super fast. But now my hard drive is near capacity it doesn't come up as fast anymore. The more crap I have on my hard drive, the longer it takes to start my computer up.
