    That's the problem with ultra tall buildings. In the end they just don't fit in with the other architecture of a city unless the city's sky line looks like Chicago.

            Naturally US won't convert to metric. It will be partitioned by Canada, Cuba, and Mexico far too quickly to get a decent chance of that.

                  Architects use inches and feet, engineers centimeters and meters. I always wonder how the heck buildings manage to stand up in this country.
