I really hate all the studio recordings after the black album. Sure Frayed ends is not one of the best Metallica numbers, but I can't believe you left To Live is to Die off.Originally posted by Minute Mirage
Seriously, the only songs I like on Justice are One, Eye of The Beholder and Blackened. The title track could be good if it was 5 minutes shorter. I think Load is a better album than this, not to mention RTL, MOP, Black and KEA.
Live **** - is easily the best Metallica Album IMHO.
No worries Drake.

I did like To Live is to Die at first but I think it's way too long. A 10- minute instrumental from a non-prog band? No thanks.Originally posted by Agathon

I haven't heard Live ****, since I'm not a big fan of live albums, but you're making me think I should check it out. Then again, I'm pretty much burnt out on Metallica, even though I realise they made some great songs, so I think I'll pass.
Justice is a funny album. A lot of people don't think it's very good, but then there are some people who think it's the best album ever. I'm glad someone likes it.Originally posted by Dissident
what!

I guess being a classical fan has given me a lot of tolerance for long tracks. After Mahler even "Dazed and Confused" Live is brief.Originally posted by Minute Mirage

Three whole concerts? I got my copy on a really good deal. Metallica show on this album that as far as live performance goes, they are the equal of anyone.I haven't heard Live ****, since I'm not a big fan of live albums, but you're making me think I should check it out. I don't think it's the best (toss up between MOP and RTL for studio work) but I've always liked it. Then again I like Megadeth too.Justice is a funny album. I have tolerance for long songs, if they manage to stay interesting. I don't like long songs that don't justify their length.Originally posted by Agathon

Woody Guthrie's "This Land is Your Land" with the verse that he rarely uses in recordings:
There was a big high wall there,
That tried to stop me,
The sign was painted,
"private property",
But on the back side,
it didn't say nothing,
This land was made for you and me.
