  • If the Red Sox lose this series, you can point to one big reason why: The Red Sox didn't stay the course and pitch Burkett in Game 4.

And if Burkett lost in Game 4? You go down 3-1. And then Wakefield pitches in Game 5, which means Lowe has to pitch in NY in Game 6 or 7. The stats show that Lowe is MUCH worse away than at home. Now, he lost anyway, but it was a very good gamble by Little. You want Lowe to pitch in Boston and you also don't want to wait until Game 6 (at which point you may have lost already) to pitch Wakefield.
“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”
    - John 13:34-35 (NRSV)

Come on..now Baltimore fans, they have the right to ***** about fan interference. The cubs failed to get the necessary outs without any interference from that kid anymore.

                      A)The kid has parents, right?
B)It wasn't just a kid in there, there was an adult right next to him doing that same thing

That "kid" looks old enough to be thrown out of any bar in Chicago.. for the rest of his natural life.

                          • Well, the cubs can kiss the series good bye. After a heart breaking loss like this one, they won't win tomorrow.

                              • That play did not that inning make. A breaking ball that was running out of break is the reason, not one foul ball. Give the fans a break...they were doing what probably anybody would have done.
