Would you date an older woman?

Ever since seriously regretting a decision NOT to date an attractive young woman who was coming on to me, though a good bit older, I've been getting a little bit more comfortable with the idea...

That said, I still prefer dating women younger than me. I suppose that it's just that if I have another situation where an older woman is actually coming on to me, I might not turn it away so quickly next time

I'm 22. I'd have no problems dating someone up to about 26 or something (and as young as 19), much beyond that you'd get into the territory of us having seriously different life priorities.

That's for a relationship, though. If we just talking about sex then the range would be 18-35 as long as she's hot (the hotness threshold gets stricter as they get older ).

For example, Pamela Anderson is 35 and I'd certainly do her if the opportunity arose*. Demi Moore is in her early forties and she's still got a little something about her.

When I was 24 I dated a woman who was 32 though most of the women I date tend to me +/- 5 years of my age.

It has been so in my family for a long time... There's 7 years between my parents, and they began dating as he was about my age... and the same with both my brothers... For some strange reason, there's always the 7 years gap between... and they started dating when the youngest of them was ~15

BTW there was a great article in the newspaper yesterday which said 1/3 of American women date "significantly younger men" and the older women get the more likely it is to happen. Many of these women are highly educated professionals with successful careers who are in their 30s and who are dating men in their 20s. I guess it's kind of like how rich men like to date younger women only now many women have their own careers and can do the same with men.

I'm 22, and my fiance is 27. So, I have no problem with older women whatsoever. At first I thought my upper limit would be 40, but I think maybe up to 50 would be possible. Provided they were fit, intelligent, and so on.

Yeah, but the 20 year olds look like they're fifteen...

It's not the looks that's the problem, it's the fact that they act like they're 12.

The great thing are the Asian women in their 30s who look like they're 20, but you are mature and no what to do.

Mind you, when I was 33 I was living with a white woman who was 36 and she was great. Very cool.
