If anyone wants to apply for an IT position and cover up my time wasted on Poly when I'm at work let me know, I'll see if we're hiring...

I am overemployed. Basically two parttime jobs plus school.

I just sit around waiting for a job to find me. I'm good at hiding from work, though. Maybe... TOO good.

I'm a contractor, and my contract may be expiring soon. They haven't told me one way or the other, so I will assume that I'm outta here soon, though they'll probably find some more money to keep me.

I just interviewed with one place and I am going to a school district to take a test for a computer job. You have to past the test in order to get an interview and that is a week from today.

Does anyone have any tips on taking these types of tests? The postion is a computer tech and I think it will have something to do with computers, but no one I talk to could tell me what the test was on.
I've only taken one of these tests, and it was for a govt job. I found the test to be very similar to the kind of material you would study to get the A+ certification.

Get yourself an A+ book, study it, and you should be okay.

I used to be a philosophy instructor, now I'm a law student. I did work full-time over the summer at the Legal Aid Society though.

I work part-time, usually just one day in the week during the University year, and one whole month during my summer break.

Sorry, to be unemployed, you have to both not have a job and be actively looking for a job. Otherwise you simply aren't in the labor rate. :P

I have been unemployed in the past...I am currently employed and moving straight from one job to another with a significant increase in pay.
