Am I the only person here who fears their alarm clock in a pavlonian way?

    Anyone else have this problem?
Me too, hate that sound. I still react to it even though I no longer have such an alarm clock...

I have a "classic" alarm clock buzzer, i.e. BEEP BEEP BEPP. It is a fairly common sound.
Can't be that common - I haven't heard mine bepp yet.

I just hate waking up early in general, alarm or no. In fact it's way too early now and I'm in a bad mood, but Mon - Thur I gotta get up before noon and I hate it.

I can usually wake up at the right time normally, but just in case I set my alarm for 20-30 mins after I want to get up so I won't be too late. Although I usually forget to turn it off when I wake up, and it keeps ringing.

I set my alarm for 1 hour before I'm suppose to wake up and then keep hitting the snooze.. I generally wake up before it comes on, but I get a chance to wake up slowly by doing this...

Yet, I don't fear the Bepping.

Usually by the third beep, I've already sprung from the bed, ran across the room and slammed off the alarm. The roundtrip, including getting back into bed and falling back asleep is about 4 seconds

Earlier my girlfriend always used her cellphone as an alarm clock. It's of a common sort around here (Ericsson, don't ask me what version, I hate cell phones!). Also, so used the default ringing sound. I hated it. Do you have any idea how many that uses the default sound for a Ericsson in Sweden? Figure out the rest yourselfes.

Which do you think would leave you more refreshed during the day, 8 hours good sleep or 7 hours good sleep and an hour of dozing?

I hate telephone rings so I set my cell phone to do the classic telephone rining when I need to wake up.

I have this urge to pick up the phone when phone rings.
                      :-p

I set my alarm to an hour before I need to leave, and usually end up hitting the snooze for the next 40 minutes.

If lying alone in bed is such an enjoyable experience for you, why not go to it a couple of hours earlier!

Best way to drive me nuts is to hide the phones and have them ringing.

No, I didnt work as a telemarketer, tech support or anything like that. I really have no idea why I dont like the sound of phone ringing.

lying in bed for hours after you woke up VS lyining in bed hours before you sleep is a totally different experience/feeling.

Lying in bed after you wake up just makes you feel more tired and groggier.
