I'm thinking the next international destination I'm going to go to will be Spain. I'd love to go there next summer for the running of the bulls plus a little trip to Ibeza. I've seen most of the rest of Europe but Spain is still virgin territory for me. Where do you plan on visiting next and why?

Probably need to visit the grandparents soon, so Romania.
Hmm... this reminds me, I should fill out my passport applications."The purpose of studying economics is not to acquire a set of ready-made answers to economic questions, but to learn how to avoid being deceived by economists."

I thought about Australia, but it's so freakin' far away. It would have been nice to do that when I was in the navy. But in the navy we really never had time to see all the sights anyways. I was lucky to get 2 nights off.
Well I have vacation coming up, but I won't be going anywhere myself. I have some relatives coming in. They want to see Death Valley and Sequioa national park (or is it a forest?). I will take them there.
I really don't plan on going anywhere myself anytime soon.

Boshko: Thailand is well worth the visit. I spent six weeks there and I still didn't feel like I'd seen everything; there was just that many ancient ruins, temples, war sights, forests, and parks. Not to meantion the food, the people, and the great deals on Silk & Jewlery.
Victor: I've never been to Romania either but I hear it is one of the great undiscovered (relatively) destinations in Europe. I'd love to go to Dracula's Castile, hike in the Carpathian mountains, and visit the many medieval Churches.Try http://wordforge.net/index.php for discussion and debate.

Edinburgh. Three friends and I are taking the train up there to see the city and for me to visit the university. A fun mini-break of learning, drinking, shopping, and drinking away from school in October.
The only sucktacular thing is that the earliest train we could get that gets us up in time for the uni visiting day gets in at half ten at night. *sigh* that destroys our plan to see some of the city before seing the uni.Exult in your existence, because that very process has blundered unwittingly on its own negation. Only a small, local negation, to be sure: only one species, and only a minority of that species; but there lies hope. [...] Stand tall, Bipedal Ape. The shark may outswim you, the cheetah outrun you, the swift outfly you, the capuchin outclimb you, the elephant outpower you, the redwood outlast you. But you have the biggest gifts of all: the gift of understanding the ruthlessly cruel process that gave us all existence [and the] gift of revulsion against its implications.

Italy, somewhere in late october I think. I'll be visiting some friends in Bologna. Does anyone know where I can find the cheapest offers to get there? So far, the cheapest one I've found is 140 euro's (including airport taxes etc.) for a return flight to Pisa (with Basiqair). Bergamo would be cheaper, but it's almost impossible to get to and from there with the flight schedule they have.

The land of the Engles. Most likely next fall to study for a semester.
Before that, though, I'm prolly heading to Florida for a weekend, Montreal for spring break, and hopefully Amsterdam during the summer."I predict your ignore will rival Ben's" - Ecofarm
