    Everything he's said, ever.
Christianity: The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree...

Bush said he's never send American troops into someplace he didn't have a plan for getting them out.

Oooh, perhaps like Caligula's illness that turned him into a raving lunatic. The precious oxygen Bush's brain lost in those few seconds was just enough to transform him from an ordinary idiot into a world-threatening, economy-busting wholesale liar idiot! I sense a book deal coming...

You know, no matter how many times you say that, it's not gonna be true.

On this topic, I don't understand why this is a 'lie'. Unkept promise, perhaps, but I don't think Herbert Walker Bush intended to raise taxes when he made the statement. Only when he got into office and was privy to everything did he decide that he just couldn't keep his promise, even if it would cost him.

I don't think unkept promises and lies are the same thing.

Thread starter didn't specify which Bush.

Only misleading in that "decades" or "centuries" may have been more accurate. Oh, and that it may never be won. Or that his entire strategy in said war may be completely misguided. Other than that, just call him Honest George.

And because of that flippant response, I'm simply going to tell you to READ THE ****ING THREAD instead of explaining .
