Btw Rabbit, is the GHIN computer the set up many courses have for players to punch in their scores to keep track of handicap?

Oh yeah, by the time I see you guys next year, I may be a teaching pro. I'm planning to take the PAT (Players ability test) and the course for golf course management hopefully by late spring or early summer. An acquaintance is the golf pro at Eagle Bend and he was telling me the requirements aren't that rigid - 2 rounds with a total of 161 on Alvamar (slope 143) and I pass.

Yes, they are usually networked together so you can enter your scores anywhere in the country. Or look up ratings and slopes.

Too much muscle and not enough skill.

I do like to go out to the driving range and try to hit things with the balls though. Moving targets like the golf ball picker are always fun

As my dad would tell me, pro golfers have effortless power.

              I have powerless effort.

I went out and shot an 87 this weekend, the best score I've posted in a while. 46 on the front and 41 on the back. It always seems to take me a few holes to get good and warmed up. On the upside though, for some reason I was hitting my irons further and straighter than I have in a LONG time. Now if I could just get my damn putting down. Three putts don't help your handicap...
