"Mal nommer les choses, c'est accroître le malheur du monde" - Camus (thanks Davout)

"I thought you must be dead ..." he said simply. "So did I for a while," said Ford, "and then I decided I was a lemon for a couple of weeks. A kept myself amused all that time jumping in and out of a gin and tonic."

Wouldn't surprise me in the least. Pretty much everyone in the Waikato (except the fancy lifestyle block owners out in the wilderness) would have seen everyone

Well I have made the journey to OZ and met Alexander's Horse, Finbar and MisterWhereItsAs (NZ) over there - and they in turn have met others...

Ironically, although the Aussies haven't met Makeo, he has been to a Polymeet in London which I wasn't at but people like PH, Stew and MikeH - so he is connected via the UK...

Hey where in Sydney are you staying and why weren't you there last year when I was!?

You should hook up with Finbar, he's not bad in the Italian cooking department and AH would probably come up for a visit...

I've met loads of you. In fact, loads of 'polytoners have stayed in my house.

Having met Provost Harrison, I'm forever linked to many Apolytoners. Eeeww, I feel so unclean.

I think I´ve never met anyone of you. but those who ever personally spoke with Bill Clinton are four degrees seperated from me.

Ya, visited Boshko at Wesleyan University before he left.

You, R. Sorry. BTW, I had a computer problem logging into the site for the last week or so. Maybe you can get Dan to work on it.
