Greenspan, the GSEs and the tax cuts have pushed for a last hurray of the bubble economy. Might last long enough to get Bush on a recovery story.

Well, I would be willing to see Atlanta burned again, but not to have Bush re-elected.
Also, in late 1999, I remember hearing how Bush would win the popular vote by several percentage points cause golly, look how likeable he was compared to wooden Gore. 12 months later, and Bush wins by the slimests margins in the elctoral college and looses the popular vote.If you don't like reality, change it! me

Well the economy has been in recovery, so hopefully we will soon see an unemployment fall to follow it. If that happens the Democrats will be in trouble.
You will have to see growth of above 4% for a year for there to be any noticeable recovery - and I don't see that happening untill household's balance sheets have been substantially improved.
