The real sad thing is in the real old days, that shirt would have said and whoever plays the Bears. But I guess you have to be good before that happens again. It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Sheeple

The memories of 85 fade quickly. Heck I was on my honeymoon during their playoff run that year. My daughter is now in highschool. It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Sheeple

So let's see...
The Bears won the Super Bowl in 1985
Myself, Ming, and Rah all ran out, got married and had kids. (work with me here, boys...)
The supposed "dynasty" Bears didn't win again, and they haven't won since.
So maybe it's our own fault...
If we sacrifice our marriages and our firstborn, do you think the curse will be lifted???Apolyton's Grim Reaper 2008, 2010 & 2011

Hey! Bears won a SuperBowl, the Vikes, oh yea, 0-4 Baby, they really suck!
At least they got to the Superbowl 4 times .
The Vikes did have some damned good teams during the 70s. They should have won one, but just choked in the big game.“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

That sounds like me and the Devils .
Though I did watch a few games that they have won (especially Stanley Cup Final games ).“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

The Bears won in '63, but suffered two decades of BAD quarterbacking after Billy Wade retired until they got McMahon. They won the Superbowl with Jim and wold have won a couple more if he remained healthy during the playoffs. But since Jim left, the Bears have again been plagued with BAD quarterbacking with the exception of a couple of streaks when Miller was hot.
I always thought that Stewart was one of the worst quarterbacks in the league - separating Pittsburgh from possibly winning it all several times with fairly good teams. I can only imagine how he will stink up the field with an average to poor offense. The Bears are in trouble this year - no doubt about it.
This is not going to be a good years for Bears fans.
Why can't we ever solve this quarterback problem? Why?http://tools.wikimedia.de/~gmaxwell/jorbis/JOrbisPlayer.php?path=John+Williams+The+Imperial+M arch+from+The+Empire+Strikes+Back.ogg&wiki=en

Kramer was decent. Not good, but not bad either.
McMahon? WTF are you smoking?
I think you'd have to say McMahon was at least average. He wasn't a BAD QB, just nothing too special.“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

Chicago's problem has to do with management and culture. How many Pro-Bowl WR's have we had in recent history? Marty Booker? And he's just a beneficiary of John Shoops endless stream of 2 yard dump passes... what?? Curtis Conway?? pfffft...
Look at a franchise like SF... Montana, Young, Garcia... Rice, Owens... they can find talent...
The Bears got lucky with Walter Payton... but other than Sweetness... name a franchise level player that the Bears have had in the past 2 or 3 decades? Brian Urlacher? He's a Pro-Bowl MLB, probably 2nd best to Ray Lewis, but he's wayyyyy overrated because he's a white boy. You think he'd get half the attention he's getting if he were black? If he were Gildon, Spikes, or Brooks? pfffft... he's the leading NFL Jersey seller because he's white. I love Urlacher and the Bears historically have had tough D, but he's not going to win anything unless you can put points on the board. To us, it is the BEAST.

Of course I love Dilfer, so . But like I said, he wasn't 'bad'. He was average (and some years a little above average).
You think he'd get half the attention he's getting if he were black?
Um... YES! Urlacher is an incredible linebacker, man! Outside of Ray Lewis name a better MLB? It has nothing to do with him being white.

Btw, are you crazy, or did you just forget Mike Singletary? What about Richard Dent?“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”
