Horse is correct, Hitler said nothing new, his book is a series of rants based on perceptions he gained living in Vienna before the first world war.

BTW, Hitler's favorite movies were about English colonialism (his fav was "Lives of a Bengal Lancer, which he thought was a brilliant example of racially superior men controlling untold masses of inferiors).

The only original part of the book is the part where he describes what he would do if he ever got power, and this was scoffed at, yet he did exactly what he said he would do.

If you watch "The Gods Must Be Crazy", you'd wonder if less technologically advanced people are that Inferior to us...
Notice I said socially as well. I would call an African dictatorship inferior to a Western democracy any day.

Same here. But I would be more cautious with an African tribe under traditional chiefdom. Actually, the European replacement of Chiefdoms (often not based on territory) with the western idea of Nation State is one of the causes of today's African tragedy. The idea behind this replacement was that our concept was better than theirs, because we were more technologically advanced

          Yes. Thought.

Boddington has a point, in a way. While other races are not inherently inferior, they ARE less socially, technologically, and militarily advanced. This doesn't mean we have a mandate to rule them, but it does mean their societies are inferior to ours.
Last time I checked America is not "one race". Actually it prides itself, and does very well, on the fact that it is a mixture of races put together and mixed. It also begs the question how we judge "inferiority" and actually Spiffor already answered it I think.

The European replacement of Chiefdoms with the western idea of the nationstate, combined with the lack of effort put into developing a society capable of handling it, and/or the removal of the European powers before such development could take place, is the cause of today's African tragedy.

              Agreed on that completely.

And you notice how some races are better off than others in America? Part of that is because of slavery, but another part is do to their culture that does not encourage a good education et al.

How can you still define race in a country whose 75% of the population has african genes?

I also think that the US unfortunately has adopted "nazism" in its purest form: «There are Whites and there are all the others».

Again I'm talking about the average Joe, not the country in its entirity, I do not allude any connection of the country with Nazi Germany in what regards deeds and do not confide my opinions solely on this country but on many others as well. It is just that America seems to have inherited a lot of things from the British Empire and maybe its "Nazism" was one of the most profound of them. It served its use I suppose to "separete" a very diverse crowds

                      Paiktis:

notice how the greatest seperations come from those who are liberally-minded... always seems like the conservatives are the ones touting of an american people made up of all ethnicities, while its the liberals who go to such lengths to differentiate with such terms as Asian-American and African-American...

Affirmative action manages to do it

                          I see.

Don't get me wrong I think the US is a pride in all over the world in what regards tolerance of different people. Certaintly has shown much more progress than Europe for example or former colonial countries.

Oh, and re: African genes, there really aren't African genes, as proven by genetic studies. Just looking at the percent differences in the DNA of a bunch of people, they couldn't seperate them into groups of race. Yes, there are genes that control it, but they are very few (such as the gene for skin color).

Recommended book if you want to explore the connection between colonialism and Nazism/The Holocaust: "Exterminate all the Brutes" by Sven Lindqvist, a work which at the time was quite groundbreaking and a damn fine peice of fiction interpolated with non-fiction to boot.
