Looks like OBL's friends hate the UN even after the UN tried everything in its power to save Sadam.Try http://wordforge.net/index.php for discussion and debate.

How can that be when Saddam was sooooooooo supportive of Bin Laden?“Now we declare… that the law-making power or the first and real effective source of law is the people or the body of citizens or the prevailing part of the people according to its election or its will expressed in general convention by vote, commanding or deciding that something be done or omitted in regard to human civil acts under penalty or temporal punishment….” (Marsilius of Padua, „Defensor Pacis“, AD 1324)

Either bring the troops home, or level Baghdad.
Those are the 2 options, as I see it.
Iraqi's need to take some responsibility for what's happening.
In any case, withdrawl from the U.N. is still needed.Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away.

Maybe some Baathites are unhappy at UN failure to contain american aggression.“Now we declare… that the law-making power or the first and real effective source of law is the people or the body of citizens or the prevailing part of the people according to its election or its will expressed in general convention by vote, commanding or deciding that something be done or omitted in regard to human civil acts under penalty or temporal punishment….” (Marsilius of Padua, „Defensor Pacis“, AD 1324)

I saw how pissed off people got after a day and a half of blackout - They haven't had juice for 3 months! In 130 degree weather! Whose problem is it they had smoke blown up their ass about a post -saddam democracy and they can't even get basic necessities.
I don't condone what they're doing, but I can't blame anyone either."Perhaps a new spirit is rising among us. If it is, let us trace its movements and pray that our own inner being may be sensitive to its guidance, for we are deeply in need of a new way beyond the darkness that seems so close around us." --MLK Jr.

Why do you equate Bin Laden's feelings for Hussein with this?
Actually, you prove the point of support.

Wrong, Jac. It took weeks before the Iraqi Police force came out to take responsibility for looting.
What if the U.S. says, "That's it. Enough. Finito."
How pissed off will the population be then ?
We're not there to spoon-feed them for eternity.
Look at Afghanistan.

The first one was just a reply, the second stated a possible reason. No troll here.“Now we declare… that the law-making power or the first and real effective source of law is the people or the body of citizens or the prevailing part of the people according to its election or its will expressed in general convention by vote, commanding or deciding that something be done or omitted in regard to human civil acts under penalty or temporal punishment….” (Marsilius of Padua, „Defensor Pacis“, AD 1324)

They haven't had juice for 3 months! In 130 degree weather!I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891
