Oh yeah, Olaf. The bad man Göran. So bad of him to shut down a nuclear power plant that is located only 15 kms from the centre of Copenhagen. So bad.

I don't take empty statements seriously if they are not backed up by arguments. Now you remind me of Fez (which almost means "fart" in Swedish...)

Nuclear Power designed and operated by professionals is safe. I see no problem with that. I live in the risk zone too (120 km from Barsebäck)

So Olaf, you think it's a mere coincidence there's no nuclear power plant in the Stockholm area?

Speaking of the environment Asmodean, did you ever read our countryman Lomborg's book "Measuring the Real State of the World"? I understand he's enjoying international awareness these days.

It was a lame attempt by Greenie-Euros to enact an effective environmentally-friendly treaty.

But according to the dumb, the Euro's are conspiring to destroy America's economy.
I like it how you are always the first to call people who disagree with you stupid. It's hilarious as you are well known on this forum as one of the dumbest posters on Apolyton, thus causing the words Pot, Kettle, and Black to come to mine.

The Kyoto treaty did not get one vote of support. Not even our most liberal members such as Sen. Boxer or the then Senator Wellstone could support it. No reasonable person who was informed on the treaty and who had any feelings of support towards America was going to vote for this treaty.

No...I've never read it. But I've seen enough to understand why some would call him a heretic. I kinda like the twist he has give the whole debate, though.

Forsmark is located 150 km from Stockholm, which is close enough if something bad happens. But it won't, as both technology and the staff's attitude is far from Chernobyl.

Sorry for a personal attack but it was just too tempting. I normally try to refrain from descending that low.

                        Olaf,

I understand that. I live in Copenhagen and I don't really have much of a problem with the whole Barsebäck thing. But I do think the Swedish politicians should have gone for a Stockholm plant.

I guess this thread has proven one thing. The enemies of Bush will try to blame him for everything under the sun in the hopes that one will stick. The ridiculous blaming him for Kyoto is simply the most glaring.
“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

And without anything else to argue, Sava can only scream out Ad Hominems Well Sava your defeat was not graceful, but it was total.
