    It sounds illegal to me. You should look up the official IRS stool pidgeon hot line and rat your parents out. That will teach them a thing or two.

      your parents aren't being legal

      your parents can not claim you as a dependent unless they are paying a certain percentage of your expenses

        That would logically make my parents, me and my husband, which is technically impossible.

        Imagine! All this time I'd been calling him "that bastard son-of-a-*****," and I'd completely missed the irony the whole time!!!
