I thought the Clooney version of Solaris was mediocre at best, exceedingly predictable and shallow, get Tarkovsky's masterful 1972 version if you necessarily want intelligent Sci-Fi.

I haven't seen a truly good film at the theatre in ages. T-3 was tolerable. Recently I've been picking up $10 DVDs at CompUsa and various video places that are dumping stuff cheap. I've bought about 30 movies in the last month, including:
