But if you're dad is a bajillionaire, and he can afford to 'donate' $10,000,000 to the school of his choice, then you too can enjoy a UCLA degree of your choice!

Please specify colour and font. Please allow 4-6 weeks for customisation and delivery of diploma.
You are thinking of USC (my Grandfather's Almamater). UCLA is state owned and has entrence requirements which require more then just having cash and a heart beat.

In reality USC is also very highly ranked but if you have enough money then they'll let anyone in plus if you pay the full $500,000 over four years tuision costs then they will insure you get a degree at the end of four years even if you fail every class.

been at college for about 6 weeks now

I have many of the same feelings as MRT. its great to finally study what i want and be surroudned by 54,000 similar aged and like minded people

oh yeah, and the girls are pretty and they like me unlike in gay ass high school

        3 cheers for college!

Uni rules. Hands down it rocks.

If you ever get the opportunity you should Study Abroad - that's what I'm doing right now and it is really great.

I guess each period has it's moments. I honestly can't say college was better or worse than HS. They were good and bad in different ways.

Sure, college had the sex and booze but also had 2-weeks of straight cramming for exams, no-sleep nights, etc. HS you could get an A on a test by studing the class before it... plus, HS romances have a certain magic to them in retrospect. College was too many flings and nothing really serious (at least for me.)

2-weeks of straight cramming for exams
You could always increase the cramming level progressively as the semester goes on. That's what I do. No work in the first two weeks for me.

I really hated high school. I was so depressed and bored. My teachers sucked and my friends were morons.

I find uni incredibly dull. No matter how hard I tried to like it, I hated my first semester, and second, although I didn't hate it, wasn't exactly that much fun.

My problem is the lack of things to do. At home I go out at least 2 nights a week with my mates and have fun, but at uni I hardly go out at all because no-one ever asks me. And hell, it's not like I'm capable of organising anything myself, so I'm left with sod all to do.

In the UK it would be horrible to actually study in your home town, everyone moves away if they possibly can.
