  • Nobody wants a piece of your Iraq mess, and everybody thinks the Bushies won't call their UN bluff. Well, maybe India might want a junk....

No... I just hate what happened and how dumb Serb acted.

You can. But nobody will understand you. On the contrary, Russian slang has its receptive and impressionable audience here.

Yes, all two of your speakers can talk to each other and the rest of us can stand around nodding and going "Hmm, I agree, yes."

On the other hand, if I start speaking Indonesian, I'll be talking to myself, which is probably worse.

          • OK, Fez, I am sorry that I revived this thread. But I really wanted to express my admiration for DD's progress in that area.

Oops... Spanish also has its audience too... well those are three words that come out my mouth a lot.

                • A couple of people use the Malaysian flag. They might be able to understand some of it.

Indonesian and Malaysian are quite different, though.

I hate I have to correct you, Fez. But it should be "joder".

And besides, I prefer "hijo de puta".

Uh huh... normally when directing at somebody you drop the "r".

                      Let me show you: http://www.insults.net/html/swear/spanish.html

Perra or puta... either one is fine.

Payaso is another one I use often.

I am sure these people don't even know the flag of which country they are using. They use it from purely aesthetic considerations, methinks.

Notwithstanding, "jode" is apparently never used alone (as a single word), unlike "joder", which then means something like "oh, sh!t". Ask your parents.
