Also tax cuts during a economic slowdown (not a downturn in this case as the economy is still growing) is the best thing in the world. unemployment isn't that bad. Compared to the 90's it may be. But we used to run this high of unemployment a lot.
In my city things are chugging along just fine. Of course my city is mroe resistant to recessions due to its special nature.
And we are running more than a moderate debt. We have the biggest debt we ever had. But that is okay for a short while. It doesn't indicate our economy is tanking.
Aside from the airline industry, the layoffs haven't been that bad. The airline industry is ****ed. but that is due to poor management. If these dumbasses knew how to run a copmany like Southwest airlines, they wouldn't be in this mess.Comment
