  • Rivisionist History indeed!

Is the President HIGH!?! I mean, only that can explain the incredible lie he told Tuesday.

". . . We gave him a chance to allow the inspectors in, and he wouldn't let them in. And, therefore, after a reasonable request, we decided to remove him from power. . . ." Excuse me

Does anyone else here remember Hussein not letting the inspectors in?

Full press release. It's in the last paragraph. Apparently he looked right at Kofi Anan as he said it, too.
Christianity: The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree...

I think he means that Hussein didn't cooperate fully with them.

Bush is a liar. He lied before the war, he lied during the war, it's not much suprise that he's still lying after the war. It's a pity George Sr didn't use birth control.

I seem to remember them being kicked out for a few years. What exactly was the cause for them getting back in again?

What the **** were they gonna find with their Iraqi escorts tagging along that was juicy enough to report to US intel, but wouldn't have been made available to the US and ever other UNSC member via their interim reports?

The "spy" allegations were just a ruse by Saddam to kick one nationality out of UNSCOM teams, so Saddam could (in his mind) dictate conditions he knew UNSCOM would never accept, as a pretext for stopping inspections. Saddam was obligation to accept unrestricted inspections, and to make complete disclosures, as part of the cease fire agreement.

Here, I think we can agree that all this stuff is true:

                    (1) Bush has a tendancy to occasionally stretch the truth.

                    (2) However, he is also a dumbass, and whenever possible the dumbassedness shows instead of the lie.

Why don't you get a new job at the Complaint Desk.
                        No, that won't work.

I really wonder why the admin. and the neocons can;t just come out and say "it was never about, isnpections, the UN, or WMD's: it was all about remaking the ME into a more IUS friendly place! We were right, damn it, so get used to it!"

At least that way no one could ever accuse them of continuing to lie; only about their arrogance, and perhaps, their faulty ideology.
