  • Dang, president Bush is smart

I hate to say it but it's true. He's a crappy president, to start out with his foreign policy is the worst a US president has ever had I think. But who cares what the rest of the world thinks of you when they aren't the ones who put you in power?

Bush has the perfect scheme. He's not doing too well as a pres, so he finds out the perfect way to gain popularity. He starts talking about how we have to eliminate evil in the world, starts making up stories about how Saddam will kill us all if we don't get him first. He talks about how evil Saddam is and makes us feel morally obligated to support the war and help get the world rid of evil. It gets us all patriotic and he makes us think that he's a great president and he's getting rid of the world of evil. So we vote for him, thinking of how we are united with our great president to get rid of the evildoers, and that if people disagree with president Bush they should be ostracized.

It's the perfect strategy to gain power. He's got the average American thinking he has good foreign policy.
"The first man who, having fenced off a plot of land, thought of saying, 'This is mine' and found people simple enough to believe him was the real founder of civil society. How many crimes, wars, murders, how many miseries and horrors might the human race had been spared by the one who, upon pulling up the stakes or filling in the ditch, had shouted to his fellow men: 'Beware of listening to this imposter; you are lost if you forget the fruits of the earth belong to all and that the earth belongs to no one." - Jean-Jacques Rousseau

don't give him too much credit... he's surrounded by many other people who have been architects of that policy...
To us, it is the BEAST.

nah... I think it's a collection a lot of people with different skills, talents, and knowledge. Cheney is high up on the totem pole, however.

I'm torn on this issue. I think Al Qaeda is responsible... no doubt... but before I don my tinfoil hat, I must give Bush the benefit of the doubt on this one. I think 9-11 was more ineptitude than malicious intent. As evil as Bushies are... I doubt they'd allow the WTC to be attacked if they knew about it.

(sorry if I just posted something like this, I posted a reply but my computer disconnected and I lost what I wrote)

Bush has a degree from Harvard, and anyone that is halfway smart enough to get accepted there could easily think up of his scheme.

Bush was the recipient of "rich-connected-family" affirmative action... his scholastic achievements would have earned him a birth at some party state school.

If you're smart enough to not flunk out of high school you could think up his plan. I'll never be as smart as most people at Apolyton yet I could easily come up with such a plan.

exactly... the key is having the political connections to pull it off...

                      How exactly, is this news?

I thought that some of us stated this opinion of theirs right before Operation Iraqi Liberation.

Either that, or he has connections, which seems to be the more probable cause.

Remember? Cheney is a member of the "Old Conservative Hand on the Policy Steering Wheel" program. Equal or larger honchos are in the military, the justice department, homeland panic department, etc. However, Bush is a lot smarter than you usually give him credit for. He managed to pull all the right connections together and now he's President!

I still think Bush is responsible for 9/11. He didn't do the act mind you, but he was behind the funding and planning of the attack.
