Nah, just a pure Ravenloft campaign, but that would require a really good DM to create the appropriate athmosphere. I do play in one campaign that's sort of a cross between 1890s Earth and Ravenloft in many ways, but it isn't technically D&D, but it uses the same d20 based system. (Classes are different to suit 1890s earth with minor access to magic.)

Maybe it could go into neverending stories

So, we going to start organizing this now or what?

I was writing the neverending stories reply before I read Solvers post. I meant the game it self going into the nes forum...

I'm interested. I've only played 3E. I have the three core books and one supplemental (Masters of the Wild). Start at 1st level, or higher?

I think the PHB for 3rd E. has starting rules... level 3 for single I think...

This should probably be done on IRC or something...

Also, what of those without the rule books?

Ok, Sam Stoddard of rinkworks.com (you know, the dialectalizer) is probably going to publish the new RookChat soon. It looks like the perfect solution for playing D&D online.

Or we can get it going here at 'poly. Any takers for GM? We might need to split into seperate groups in the same world because of the number in interested people...

One group will be "evil" and the other "good" and we will pit them against each other... that might be fun.

You'd have to ask Ming if he supports the tons of threads about D&D, if the game is underway.

I'd LOVE to, but....don't have the time it'd take to devote to it (in fact, I'd dearly love to run a Candle'Bre game... Now how's THAT for creating synergy!)....but until we get to the public release....no can do...

But...for whomever DOES run the show, I'd heartily recommend NOT having more than seven to a group....

The list of published books grows. If you're curious to see what sort of stories I weave out, head to Amazon.com and do an author search for "Christopher Hartpence." Help support Candle'Bre, a game created by gamers FOR gamers. All proceeds from my published works go directly to the project.

Vel: would you have time to play a character? I was hoping this would be a relaxed game, nothing to panic about...

Is NES a feasable location for a D&D game? After a little more discussion, I'll PM Ming (unless he reads and responds in here...). D&D is sorta turn based, ya know

I'll play. Can we do prestige classes? I want to be a Dragoon of Bahumet.
