  • How often do you go to the barber's?

how often do you go to your barber? and how much do you tip him?

also, i've always heard that how people outside are with their barbers is a lot different than here in the city. is that **** true? i was always told that people outside the cities just go to massive chain hair cutting places and they don't know their barber's name and what not (and they see a new person everytime they go), etc. but the show King of the Hill, had Hank having a relationship with his barber so i guess that **** aint true.

as for me, i go to my barber, Rob, once a month though I'm thinking I may need to go every 3 weeks cause my hair is feeling a bit long for this hot ass weather. my old barber, Troy, left me so for a minute i was looking for a new barber til one day, rob called out to me. everyday just about he be sitting right outside the shop, advertising his multicultural barbershop services. so i took him up on his offer and i was cool with the results. i generally try to tip 3-5 dollars but the pricing isn't specific. he knows most of his customers cant really afford the full price of a shave and a haircut so he usually throws in the shave for free but i personally got to pay in full for a service (how i was raised i guess ) so i usually just give him a dub and call it even.

    so how about yall?

I cut my own hair. It's cheaper, and it's not like I can screw up a crewcut. (Granted, the barber finishes in five minutes, while it takes me ten...)

The last time I went to a barber (about four or five years ago) I paid him eight bucks and tipped him two.

About once a month. Don't know my barbers' names, though with the ones at Pittsburgh I make small take with while I get my hair cut.

Hmmm, does Sports Clips or Mastercuts count as "the barber"? If so, about once a month, I don't know the person's name, it's rarely the same person twice in a row, and I usually tip a couple of bucks.

I go about once a month to a barbershop, not one of those sissy salons.

No, I don't know his name. He doesn't know mine, either.

Usually I'm lucky to not go to sleep in the chair, much less carry on a conversation.

Crewcuts are easy. A normal haircut (whatever that is) would almost certainly take longer than five minutes.

I used to have a 'fro, which also only took five minutes worth of maintenance every coupla months. (I wasn't able to maintain that one by myself -- too risky.) Trim around the ears, and you're done.

I've always wondered, who are the friends of Albert Speer in his real life.
Now I know; the persons who he lavishes his money in.

I'd say that you spend perhaps a bit too much attention, and thus your life-time towards your looks, Ramsey.

                            Every six weeks.

                            I usually tip about 15%.
