    If there was a God, would you worship it?

    not a troll on religion... just sharing my own views... I invite others to share their opinions, but please, no personal threadjacks please.

    If there was a God, I would not worship him. If he wants me to worship him, and he had given me free will to do with as I will, I shall not worship God. And God must accept this if he is good and fair. And if this God is not good and fair, than such a God should not be worshipped.

    Agree/Disagee? Why?

      Depends on if he gave me life after death.
      Christianity: The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree...

          I wouldn't worship any god

          however I do happen to worship God

          if He didn't exist, but some other god did, I wouldn't automatically worship him

            why would he care? although, if he did appear and started dispensing justice and all that jazz, i probably would do like the israelites and worship him...

                        That's a pretty skewed definition of "worship" -- kinda rules out polytheism. It's devotion, sure, but it doesn't have to be total...
