  • There is no starvation in the United States

I have mentioned this in a thread in the Apolyton/Community forum. Yes I was talking off-topic in an on-topic thread.

But then Sava said the poor should have food in their bellies.

I have to draw the line here.

A recent study concluded that the only malnutrition problem the U.S. has is from anorexic women and in cases of child abuse where the parents intentionally starve their children. They found that the greater problem was kids eating fatty foods like McDonald's as their primary source of food. Too many poor kids are overweight and developing diabetes.

The term "millions of starving kids in america" is just something liberals use to make us feel guilty. liberals are good at making us feel guilty about our hard work leading to a good life.

If you don't think that people miss meals due to poverty than you are really turning a blind eye.

missing meals and starvation are so not even close to related. why would u twist his words?

if he sez there is no starvation, why don't u come back and say "yes there is." coming back w/ "ppl miss meals." is insanely weak.

I missed meals all the time in the navy. Often times I was working, and could not eat chow. I sometimes only ate 1 meal a day. Was I starving? hardly.

A human can survive on 1 meal a day easily.

It depends on how big it is, and for how long.

You're willing to accept the idea of people missing meals, I'm not. So it's not weak to me.

I would base my acceptance more on their capability of obtaining adequate nutrition. not on whether or not they didn't eat breakfast. for all I know they bought a 12 pack and decided to skip all the meals.

I am not sure if there are millions, but when I saw a number of starving people in the US myself. They were homeless people, and I saw them going around to various stores begging for scraps of food.

The term "We shouldn't drink water" is just something that republicans say to feel us guilty.
The term "We have 20-inch penises" is just something that ******s say to feel us guilty.

If one person who calls himself a "liberal" lies to you, does it mean that all liberals agree with him?

Please, don't use broad generalisations, or if you do, then at least don't pull them out of your ass (or worse, FOX news), they make you look like a moron.

I mentioned this in the thread in Apolyton/Community as well.

If Eric Rudolph can survive, then anyone can.

                    You know how?

The supermarkets throw out tons of food. You just go to the dumpster and it's free for the taking. That's how Eric Rudolph got caught, someone found him poking around behind a supermarket.

Maybe you don't realize that many of the people who miss meals are kids, and missing a meal does more than make you hungry. It makes you perform worse in school. It can affect your growth, and it can affect your health.

do you have to use racial epithets?

and you use broad generalizations to say I watch Fox News. So you are guilty of it as well. So don't pretend to take the high road over me. What makes you think I watch Fox News? You just assumed I did.

Your argument is baseless, therefore invalid.

Malnutrition is rather a bigger problem than simple eating disorders. Most people eat the wrong kinds of food and don't get sufficient nutrients, especially the poor. This, however, is a food choice problem, but as makers of poor quality food target the poor, blame doesn't lie entirely with the poor. After all, if advertizing and marketing didn't work, they wouldn't spend billions on it, would they?

I'd have to know more than that. what are there parents doing? lots of normal kids don't eat breakfast. if kids are being nutritionally neglected then lets get after the parents. not hand the parents more damn money.

Healthy food is more expensive, and some can't afford it.
