Why not just randomly bold words for the fun of it.

Interesting to meet someone who scrolls by playing with their balls. No I don't want to shake your hand.

        It prints over itself.

How long does it take the ink to get too thick for the paper too run through the printer?

                It even scrolls for you.

I never bold names... I don't see the point. If you miss something directed at you, then you weren't really interested it the topic enough anyway .

If you're browsing a thread, which contains a lot of information not important to you, but on the other hand you've posted something in it and are wondering if someone has made a response to you, it's helpful to notice your name bolded in the start of the line.

Asher -- > A good example of this is the ST, where Spiffor has asked the longest word in the Finnish language. However, bolding people's names in the middle of the line, Asher, doesn't usually work, since it actually doesn't catch anyones attention as efficiently as the bold in the start of the line...

Asher what do you think of the idea of using a size increase instead?

I think I'm one of the most quoted Apolytoners in sigs, after Fez.

It reminds me of how gossip columnists like Liz Smith like to drop names like Jesse Jackson throughout her column for apparantly no James Carville reason.

It reminds me of Steve Gibson's writing style which is insanely obnoxious.
