I think that is rather common.

Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing?

      Bah.

You people make it sound like a bad thing. It isn't. Here, we can talk to people who share our interests, as opposed to merely sharing our geograpy or workspace. If you find your refreshing for something new here, it's merely because you've learned that conversing with the people around you, who you probably wouldn't talk to at all if it weren't for being forced into close quarters for eight hour a day, simply can't compete.
No, I did not steal that from somebody on Something Awful.

I am addicted to the point that I prefer being bored in front of the forum while refreshing every 30 seconds hoping someone has written someting, than to do any actual useful / entertaining thing
        I have done this before

at least I'm not the only one who pushese refresh often to look for new replies. I often post late- like right now, so often there are no new replies . But when it's this late, I get bored.

also I should note that Apolyton and computers in general are one of the better things to get addicted to (unless you are addicted to internet porn- which can cost some big bucks- for most people at least)

aside from tired eyes, I can't see any harmful effects like alcoholism, drug adddictions, shopping addictions (monetary effects), eating addictions, etc.

the sad thing is I'm watching the old tv show Chips right now.

I think it would be healthier if I were posting at Apolyton. That tv show is very bad.

I'm a hardcore addicted. I spent 10 days far from Poly and actually I wasn't that much anxious to post here, but when I started to do it again, I felt that refreshing feeling creeping up my veins, making me feel relaxed and warm and happy, and then I realized that I couldn't live without this place anymore.

Hi, my name is Alex and I'm an Apolyholic.
I watched you fall. I think I pushed.

Oh come on. I argue in those threads all the time (until I get bored), but I don't dislike any of the people on here. I'd be an idiot if I based my view of people on their internet postings. I don't even hate the fascists. I think they're profoundly mistaken, but that doesn't mean I have no respect for them or think that they are Satan's representatives on this earth.
