. . . beyond the usual political ideology that you follow, or whatever philosophical view you take on life and humanity.
Besides the viewpoints you take on the usual issues discussed over and over on Apolyton, who are you?
Family background: I am the youngest of the five children with one older brother, and three older sisters. My father worked all his adult life at John Deere, and enjoyed only a year of retirement before dying from a stroke six years ago. My mother is alive and well.
Religion: I was raised Catholic, but now, I'm a non-active Christian, considering becoming Episcopalian.
Work/School: I graduated this past May with a Bachelor of Arts in History, and did very well. Now, I'm looking forward to my great internship program and graduate courses at Eastern Illinois University this fall.
I also lived all my childhood in a rural town of only 300 people, which was predominantly Catholic.
I moved out a year after coming out to my family and friends -- not because they disowned me, but because I can breathe easier in a larger town/city.
I have interest in chess, movies, reading fantasy fiction although have lacked time for that the past year, and I enjoy walks in parks.
I also have a great interest in history of American Civil War, and contemporary issues concerning homosexuals. I have other interests that include human prehistory, wildlife, and fictional writing.
With fictional writing, I usually delve into fantasy, or historical fiction. Right now, I'm working out a background idea for a fantasy novel.
So, how about yourself?
