Apolyton should be spelled "Apollyon".
Apollyon is in Rev 9:11 "And they had as king over them the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon, but in Greek he has the name Apollyon."

Actually, the last thread I read on it in the community forum said it means "mighty ones," or some such, in Greek.
Whatever the etymology is, this forum can hardly be called "a polite one." So that stupid derivation's out.Comment
