Who wants to do such a thing?
i do, to transfer files across campus from my computer to wherever i happen to be working.
or, to transfer files between work and home, because it's a low-cost, free, and relatively speedy temp internet hard drive.B♭3

I use OpenOffice for a word processor and math editor, and gvim as a text editor. The only complaint I have about OpenOffice is that it doesn't have a format painter.
