The whole 'Comical Ali' thing has started to mystify me. Not to go all Godwin here or anything, but sometimes I wonder what would have happened with ol' Joe Goebbels if modern media and Internet had existed during WW2. We'd probably know him as "Berlin Bob" and "Desert Faux" or something.

Comparing al-Sahhaf to Goebbels is a bit of a stretch. Goebbels wasn't just a propagandist (and a far superior one to al-Sahhaf), he was also an ardent believer in and architect of the Nazi genocide policies.
