Nice to see Speer is keeping an open mind!

I'd go with Edinburgh, myself. Trust me, I traveled ALOT FURTHER to go to college.

Most graduates end up looking for work in the area around the university they graduated from. So I vote for Edinburgh.

Plus, I remember a billion years ago when I went to UCLA, we had an exchange program with Edinburgh. I'll bet it's still in place. So, instead of cold Toronto, you can come to sunny California.

Think Prince William is at St Andrews.

I'd go for Edinburgh as well, if just for the reputation of the place. Socially it is also very good from what i could gather when I went to visit some of my mates up there.

East Anglia... The campus is somewhere in the middle of nothing to be completely honest. They got a great sports center though, was real jealous when I played basketball there with Cambridge. As for job projects, you're not that far from Cambridge which is one of the main centres of biotech and other high tech industries.

Sussex.. If you're good enough to get into Edinburgh, then I'd almost say that Sussex is probably slightly below your standard. How do the offer compare? I'd think that edinburgh is probably AAB, and Sussex BBC or somthing along those lines. This means that you'll have more time for socialising, but a 2:1 from Edinburgh will be seen with similar or better views as a 1st from Sussex.

Edinburgh wants BBB for Biochemistry, Sussex wants BBC, East Anglia wants BBC or ABB if I do a year abroad.

Oxbridge (Oxford and Cambridge) totally repelled me with their attitude. I'm not one to jump through the extra hoops of seperate forms, entrance exams, interviews with suits, and the rest.
